A Few Paw policies
1. Always know how you are getting home before you leave the house.
2. Students are aware of the fact that it is against school rules to carry a cell phone on campus. Thus they are aware of the fact that if they have one it will be taken up and given to administration.
3. Electronics are not allowed at school since they can cause a distraction during class.
4. Students should not arrive before 7:10 am for school. The first bell rings at 7:40am. The tardy bell rings at 7:45. It is our goal to have everyone in place and eager to get the day started by 7:45am. Our day will end with the 1st bell (car riders and bus riders) at 2:40 and 2nd bell bus riders and After School Care at 3:00.
5. Safety is always our top priority. Once your child's transportation is set at the beginning of the school year, changes should be reserved for emergency purposes only. If your child’s transportation plans change, a signed note is required from both the giving/receiving parent. For example, if Student A is spending the night with Student B, then Student A’s parent will need to write and sign a note giving permission and Student B’s parent must write and sign a note saying it’s ok to spend the night as well. We will be unable to accept any changes via phone. The change must be in writing by note or email to all 3 of our office staff members, and cc the child’s teacher, prior to 2:00p.m. If you are not able to email, a signed fax may be provided. However, a request by phone alone will not be acceptable since we are unable to confirm the caller. The fax number and email addresses follow: a. Fax #: 251.580.4188
